Why I chose this topic.

Hockey is a big part of my life. I love everything about it whether its playing in a league, playing pond hockey, or even playing street hockey in my driveway. But one of the coolest things about the sport is its professional league, and how fun it is to watch. Being from Boston there have been many good sports franchises in the last decade, who have won many championships. But there was nothing else like watching the playoff run of the Boston Bruins. I chose the Bruins because they are my favorite sports team of any sport. With this blog I hope to teach fans of the bruins who just pay attention when playoff time comes a little more about the bruins then just there recent stanley cup championship. I feel like a lot of bruins fans are just fans during the playoffs. I wanna know how often do you watch a bruins game, watch highlights, or even check the score after the game not including the playoffs.

  1. I watch about 8 bruins games a year, and check their record and stats of the players every three days. Do you think the bruins will win the Stanley Cup this year.

  2. Brett, As I commented to Brian on his blog about the NHL, Hockey is my favorite “spectator” sport; I love the fast pace, the action, and the fights (except the real bad ones). I’d love to learn about the early years of the Bruins; when they were established and who were some of the great Bruins players (there were so many). Including a picture of former players in old uniforms would be very interesting. Last year’s season was incredible! How many times (and what years) have they won the Stanley Cup? Who is your favorite Bruins player (past or present) and why? Great start Brett; I can’t wait to read your blog when you’re finished! Mrs. A.

  3. Unfortunately, I don't watch many regular season Bruin games, because I have never really cared for watching hockey too much, but last years great playoff run by the B's was amazing to watch, and I will hopefully watch some more regular season games this year. How do you think the Bruins will do this year? Are they still on top of the Conference?

  4. Brett, That was a very interesting question about the bruins repeating again this year, and I do have to agree with your decision. I think the bruins have enough skill and passion to repeat again this season.

  5. Hi Brett, I usually only watch post-season games and never really check stats, but I think hockey is the most exciting sport to watch. I enjoy the extremely fast pace at times and the fact that the momentum of the game can change in an instant when someone scores. I think that the Bruins could repeat their title run again this year!
